Flat Stanley buys a van

We are back at the MSU Federal Credit Union.

They are selling used vehicles that were once rental cars.

This is the van Rosalie picked out.

It is very comfortable inside.

Now they will carefully clean the van while we go fill out paperwork.

They gave us popcorn, cookies, and soda to eat while we wait our turn to fill out paperwork.

I make a few announcements while we are waiting.

It is a good thing there is a lot of popcorn because there is a lot of time to wait our turn.

Finally it is our turn. But there is still more waiting and more papers to fax.

Several hours later we are finally able to leave.

I get to test out the car seat.

There are many new features to examine.

I'm tired. It has been a long day. I am glad to go home!

Flat Stanley visits the Eye Doctor

We went to the eye doctor to pick up new glasses.

I tried on lots of different glasses while we waited.

Rosalie tried on a pair she liked too.

Kendrick thought I would look good in red glasses.

We played some games while we were waiting for our turn.

We did some reading.

"Care, Education and Service!" is the motto here.

I'm flying!

It was finally our turn.

Rosalie tried on her new athletic sunglasses for soccer games.

Pink glasses!

I tried on Rosalie's glasses.

I looked through the magnifying glass.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

The pink case for Rosalie's glasses is pretty comfortable.

Kendrick picked up his new glasses for reading and working on the computer.

Then it was time to go home.

Flat Stanley goes to the bank

Emily's flat Stanley has arrived!

It's great to welcome another Flat Stanley for a visit.

Today we went to the credit union.

(A credit union is like a bank but it is owned by the members instead of someone else)

We were at the credit union for a Bike helmet safety event.

When we got inside, there was a line.

While we waited we took a picture with the Big Lug.

He is the mascot for the Lansing Lugnut baseball team.

A local radio station was at the event. You can listen to them live.

We got to listen to music while we waited.

Flat Stanley made a few announcements while we were waiting.

Big Lug tried to be funny.

It was finally our turn to get fitted for our free helmets from AAA.

Rosalie picked purple.

Kendrick picked a black helmet.

I chose a blue helmet.
